Bad day with bad suggestion

Bad day with bad suggestion

What are chances that a blackout occured within 2 hours in a single day on a factory? Twice in one day. Apparently, my server got hay wired, email down, services all crop up and next, my boss can ask me, what the fuck happen to the systems? Why emails down, and network can not access.

After tedious explanation, I proposed 2 brand new units of APC UPS system, probably cost more than a thousand dollars. And it seems it was too expensive for him to fork out that money with a reply that I can not bear but to question his capability in terms of General IT knowledge.

Mr Director: “isn’t much cheaper if we use car batteries for our backup system?”

Bravo. I bet most of you guys rolling down the floor and laughing your ass out. It’s like bringing a spare 12V volt torch light battery to start your car when the battery runs flat.

Tisk tisk tisk. Moral of the story?

Smart enough already don’t act smart. Especially when you’re sitting so high up, employees like us don’t expect non common sense stuff from your mouth, eventually.

Please respect our Intelligence.
