Bangkok 2008

Time to pray

It has been nearly a year after my last prayer session at Bangkok city, Chit Lom. So was planning half way thru until finally i asked Seng & Zeng Jie to join along. Apparently, we went just over the weekends. A Quick re cap @ Thailand.

Zeng Jie + Ah Seng + TY

The place where we stay is exactly the one me and Ah Seng Stayed last year, It's call The Urban Age Hostel. Cheap, good and friendly place i would say, @ RM 45 Bucks per night was crazy good deal, not mentioning a weekend rate! It's actually located at Silom Soi 8. Very near to an Skytrain named Sala Deang.

Near this MRT, Walking distance 5-6 minutes.

Night life there as usual were fantastic! Chicks & Booze & She- Male! haha. We had a few beers at their so called go go bar and left after shortly. I never fancy boy-ladies. For experience sake, just accompany Zeng Jie lor.... But we just can't take it. Imagine Zeng Jie put on make up and dance on the pole. Wahahahahahaha.....

Saturday morning to temple as planned. But i was curious why it has curtains covered up. However, managed to understand why at last, cause they are applying the new gold layer paper onto the statue.

Covered up. But still can pray though

Notice

Seng Praying & wishing

Zeng Jie hope for the best

Innit nice or what?

After that, went looking for a brand named Naraya. Half a day wasted for that. Why? cause of this below. And i tell you, Whenever you stuck more than 30 minutes on the roads no mor ethan 2 KM. You can alight and take bike taxi or sky train instead. Else, you will wasting your half a day on the traffic congestion.

Bangkok traffic jam is one of the world's top list.

Me and my coconut, too bad can't see the coconut from this pix.

It's sad

It's sad

when one can not control their own life. Gambling is fun when you bet for fun, but it can be horror if greed controls you afterwards. No matter what, play within your limits and don't come and blame others for your foolish mistake.
Gamble could be deadly. Example on today's the star paper below. For me, Maggie mee for another month.

Champion. Thats why.

Gamble could be deadly. Example on today's the star paper below.
Farm manager drinks weed killer after RM90,000 gaming loss

TANJUNG SEPAT: He said he had given up betting on football but the lure of Euro 2008 proved too much for Chuang Toh Huat. In the end, he paid for his love of betting with his life. Some 12 hours after the Spain versus Italy quarterfinal match, he was found in a semi-conscious state after drinking weed killer.
“I have given more than RM1mil to pay off his debts and he promised he wouldn't do it again,” said his father Hock Meng, 56, yesterday when met at his house in Taman Pelangi.
Toh Huat died at 7.30am on Tuesday at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang. His family believes he ran up a debt of RM90,000 after failed bets during the Euro 2008 championship.

Bereft family: Lim Siew Hong weeping in front of a photograph of her husband Toh Huat as her four young children look on at their home in Taman Pelangi, Tanjung Sepat yesterday.

“Lately, with the Euro 2008 in full swing, he went back to his bad habit without us realising it,” said Hock Meng.

He said his son got hooked on football betting three years ago when a man, whom he claimed was a bookie, approached Toh Huat.

Hock Meng added he had taken loans and sold pigs from his farm to pay off his son’s debts.

The 31-year-old Toh Huat, a manager at his father’s pig farm, was found by his younger brother at about 5.30pm on Monday.

While Toh Huat was fighting for his life at the hospital, the family received three telephone calls from a man demanding RM90,000.

Hock Meng urged the authorities to protect the people, especially those in rural areas, from becoming victims of betting syndicates. He said he wanted to make public his son’s suicide for it to be a lesson to others.

Toh Huat’s mother Gan San Moy, 54, said she could not believe that her son, who was a father of four, would leave his family without saying goodbye.

“He called me after drinking the weed killer. He said somebody was after him because of bets he had placed. He told me he could not stand the harassment anymore and asked me to take care of myself and his family,” she said in between sobs.

In Kuala Lumpur, MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Michael Chong said cases of people who owed money to loan sharks got worse during the football season, adding they were “foolish people” driven by greed.

“People go crazy with their football betting and gambling and borrow even more money from the Ah Long.

“They keep coming to me for help, and I try to help them, but sometimes I end up getting myself in trouble with the Ah Long instead. I have no more mercy for them,” he told newsmen.
"Greedy is evil".

His wish for fourth wife granted

His wish for fourth wife granted

Not much updates from me, as i decided to slow down to blogging due to my hectic schedule lately. Some articles i find interesting to read.

KUALA TERENGGANU: While the recent fuel price hike and concerns over possible increase in food prices might turn more Malaysians into thrifty individuals, the opposite is true for Abu Bakar Embong.

The 49-year-old former broker and grandfather of three from Manir has instead taken a fourth wife.Yesterday, he promised the Syariah High Court here that he would meet the financial needs of his three other wives, as well as some of the 25 children he has with them.He told Syariah High Court Judge Shaikh Ahmad Ismail that he could provide for his existing family as his monthly income was about RM20,000."I can guarantee that it will never be not enough."

Shaikh Ahmad granted him permission for a fourth wife as he had fulfilled the requirements needed under Islamic law, which included consent from the three wives, who also confirmed that their husband could support all four wives.

The wives told Shaikh Ahmad that they each had a house and car from Abu Bakar. The judge also advised Abu Bakar to tend to the religious education of his children and to always be fair to all his wives. His children are between 4 months and 25 years old.His children have also approved of his plan to marry Suhaili Alias, 25.

The wedding is scheduled to take place this week.Abu Bakar's three wives Asnah Jusoh, 46, Mazumi Ismail, 45, and Norazlina Ariffin, 25, said that their husband was a loving, honest and responsible man.

"In fact, I helped arrange the proposal for the fourth wife, with the help of the other two," Mazumi said."We get on well and we are cooperative.

"If one of us is in labour, we will be by each other's side and every weekend we get together with the children."

sorry

Sorry

for the lack of enthusiastic updates lately. Been busy with Euro 2008 and my car. Officially selling of beginning of July( after getting back the rebates la). Changing most parts back to as stock condition as possible cause the price i wanted to sell is far beyond the market value now. Moreover, there's no more loan available for such old car.

With hope, a 9K or 8.5K would be sufficient to cover to new pearl white paint job, and previous engine mods.

Went to Hybird Garage and swapped the modded ECU with a standard one, offset to the uninstallation of my Apex'i SAFC, fuel regulator and BOV. Then took out my HKS silent power exhaust too. Now the car is near stock condition, left the rear disc brake and engine number to be done. After that, into the 2nd hand dealer's shop.

Nice front with nice ass. Wakakaka.

Side view with 14'' Ray Engineering rim........replica la.

Standard looking. But power not standard hor.

Before uninstall of the SAFC. You need to disconnect it 1st, not just take out wire so simple.

I taken care of this car well enough, eventhough there's minor problem here and there. i fixed it everytime. if anybody wants it. Email, sms or even call me to view the car. Price and talk later. You can make it a very good project car.

Fuel Rage

Fuel Rage

Late yesterday evening after got back from working, i noticed there were huge crowd at the petrol station. It was like end of the world zone.

Then i come to realise, it's because of today's headline.

PUTRAJAYA: The Government announced yesterday an increase in petrol and diesel prices, stating that it can no longer continue to subsidise fuel

Wa lan eh! So i also fast fast go back home take my car out and pump to the max. When it was my turn, the pump attendant conversation as per below,

Pump guy: " Hey friend, pump full ka?"
TY : " What do you think? i queue for 20 minutes right?
Pump guy: " Oh, ok, just asking. different customer, different requirement. Just now got 1 pump RM 10 only you know."
TY :" -____________-lll"

Hello!!!!!!! still got people queue so long and pump 10 bucks meh??? where's the logic! Argh....

For your information, the fuel prices now is @ RM 2.70 per litter compared to RM1.92 per little before price increase. Almost all the daily necessities has been affected by inflation. Example, rice, cooking oil, fuel, etc! Actually, i don't really bother much on how people says about Pak Lah, That he is incompetence, he is weak, no brainer, and the complaints continues...

However, this time, i can see that what a leader he really is. After his rulling, who suffer? the rakyat, the people. Every thing price increase suka suka. Did he done a good job? Any development after he took over? I ask you all this la, has ever Dr M done this to us? Rakyat got eyes one you know, fuel subsidies is our benefit, it's the peoples' money too. This is crazy, you think rebate RM625 per month as say sorry ah? Do you think is it enough? If my car drive 5 times a year then i untung la! Enough of the complaints. Talk so much no use. Wait kena go Internal Security Act investigation, and go to court. Like Jeff Ooi and friends.

Then the fuel ban on foreign vehicle is off.

I tell this, very funny one this Pak Lah's adminstration people. 1st say this, then do different thing, then imposed this ban, then took it off after 3 days. Make people life difficult only, and not mentioning laughing stock by neighbours. A while this, a while that. This is not the 1st time. Remember the RM20 on Singapore car to enter Malaysia rule & he promised no fuel increase in near future after the RM0.20 price adjustment last 2 years back?

Why can't you people finalize before implementation? So hard to do meh? Why so kan cheong spider? Made us Malaysian look so vulnerable. Haiz... Everyday, your own people spit and curse at you, you very happy izzit????

PM of Malaysia. Pak Lah. Not kiki lala.
